With gold representing greed, I’d have made it more prominent, even if iron pyrites had to be used, “representing” the Real McCoy, Julie. It is still driving corporations and their otherwise sane investors to oppose controlled growth in the “rational” pursuit of individual gain, Milton Friedman style.

Pyrite was actually in the early materials mix, but I dropped it because it didn’t quite fit, visually (even though it did fit in terms of the narrative)!
