The big logo unveil!

A while back, I wrote about attending a workshop on turning your hobby into a business. As a result of that workshop, I’ve been trying to think about my mosaics in a more serious, business-like way. Part of that was nailing down a simple and consistent visual identity. It’s still very much a work in progress (especially the website), but hey, don’t look at my feeble attempts at web design! Instead, look at my brand-spankin’ new logo!

Ta-dah!

The logo is courtesy of Tosha at Peach Media. I think she did a great job! When I first contacted her, I actually didn’t think I wanted a squirrel as part of the logo. But the first time I saw this little guy with his big frisky tail, I was in love. I think he strikes the right balance between fun/whimsical and serious/professional … kind of like the spirit of my mosaics.

So, there you have it! What do you think? Do you like it?

Oh and just FYI: other “online presence” stuff I’ve done post-workshop includes setting up RSM accounts on Twitter and Pinterest. They’re all highly entertaining, of course, and will give you a glimpse who I am and what I like.
