This mosaic is my homage to the talented street artists who liven up public space. I believe their art injects a certain vibrancy and energy into what is sometimes an otherwise dull, structured expanse of concrete and glass, right angles and office towers. My use of mosaic—an art form that can endure centuries and even millennia—serves to highlight the inherent impermanence of street art and my appreciation of these artists’ creative generosity.
