Through my residency, I am engaging Kitchener residents in a conversation about simple actions anyone can take to address climate change. To inspire people to think about what they can do to help, I've created a series of mosaics depicting four climate actions: using renewable energy and conserving energy, eating less meat, walking instead of driving, and planting a rain garden. Mosaic Workshop & Foraging Bike Ride

Join me for a foraging and mosaic-making workshop centred around one of my four climate action themes: sustainable transportation. Participants will go on a guided group bike ride (route TBD, but we'll be meeting at Breithaupt Community Centre) led by the City's cycling experts, where you'll get to know some of Kitchener's bike infrastructure and also stop along the way to forage for mosaic materials.
