Mosaic Workshop & Foraging Bike Ride

Join me for a foraging and mosaic-making workshop centred around one of my four climate action themes: sustainable transportation. Participants will go on a guided group bike ride (route TBD, but we'll be meeting at Breithaupt Community Centre) led by the City's cycling experts, where you'll get to know some of Kitchener's bike infrastructure and also stop along the way to forage for mosaic materials. Ever feel like your own personal actions on climate change don’t make a difference? Let me prove you wrong in my “Climate in Pieces” exhibition. Over the summer, Kitchener residents made small mosaics representing their own individual commitments to act on climate change, like conserving energy, eating less meat, walking instead of driving, and planting a rain garden.
